A personal brand is everything when it comes to developing a loyal following, especially when you’re a television personality who went full throttle into the tabloids for doing some sick burnouts, and so on…
BUT when you amplify your personal brand, you are making people follow you, and that’s exactly why Jeremy and his team are the wheel deal when it comes to entertainment and will win the race against the new TopGear (which is due to air this month on BBC). Let’s be honest, TopGear isn’t really TopGear without Clarkson’s comedian genius duo, James May and Richard Hammond.
In an article written by Jeremy Clarkson, he writes “So we lose the tiger… but gain acid-spit snail”, talking about nature’s battle against extinction hinting to the obvious subject point, the dying of TopGear as a show and how the presenter should probably move on.

And with no messing about, the ex TopGear duo have moved to bigger better things with Clarkson, starting a new chapter which has been newly named “The Grand Tour”, the question is: will their fan base follow?
The Grand Tour (GT for short) will still comprise of the genius car expertise of the lads followed with continuous hints of humour. This is the exact personal branding that leads to the loyal following In the first place.

Clarkson confirms that the show itself will be nothing in comparison to “the old model” it will be fresh and better than ever before.
Below: You can see the team really do love each other, even when they act as though they don’t. It’s good to see the team back together doing weird and wonderful things, nothings really changed (other than the name)
The lesson to learn from Jeremy, James and Richard is to be knowable and likable. Think about how we feel about Apple, BMW and even Nike. If we didn’t manage our personal brand as much as these companies and people manage theirs; it would assign a default brand to us, thus not working too well to our advantage – especially with the competitive market out there today!
