Marketing solves a problem or achieves a goal a business may have. I’m very much a numbers person: I enjoy looking into insightful statistics to show hard data that can be used to create an effective marketing campaign.

I have a very academic mind which mixes well with creativity. I enjoy solving problems and I take pride in my work to ensure every task is carried out to my full ability with the highest quality.

As a team player, I’m willing to share my knowledge and experience as well as combining skills with others. I learn quickly, notice my weaker areas and complete the correct steps and relevant training to learn new skills.

I believe I bring a slightly different background to the content creator role, with my undergraduate degree being in graphic design.

The most important thing in a business, and in a team environment, is bringing everyone’s strengths together to work towards the same goal. Everybody has different areas they excel in and this should be used to its full advantage to create the best team possible.

Seeing marketing move very quickly from print to digital, I believe this is a big indication of where marketing is going. Technology is constantly developing into something new and crazy and marketing will follow suit.

More personalized marketing includes more targeted campaigns which people can relate too. Augmented reality is becoming a huge marketing tool which brings life into the digital world.

The process steps of design thinking (defining the problem, researching, forming ideas, prototyping and testing) is something that I have naturally done throughout my education. We were taught from the very start this sequence of steps and I feel it has been tested and proven to be an effective way to think about marketing.

Understanding your client, understanding their audience and understanding where they want to be. I see marketing as a solution to a problem and good marketing gives the most effective answer.

My favorite occupation is the one I’m in now. This is my first marketing role and I definitely made the right decision to go into this industry.

Since the age of 5, I have loved different styles of dance (ballet, tap, modern, cheerleading) which continued through university and progressed into pole fitness. I enjoy playing netball.

Travelling has become one of my hobbies and I’m constantly looking for new places to go and things I want to see. With this has come my new interest in photography, with capturing sunsets as my favorite.

I am the owner and creator of my personal blog, www.prinsteph.com which is focused on my personal journey of being a mental health travel blogger. My weekends are spent travelling around different parts of Australia and sometimes lots of gin.
