I love great team environments where innovation and creativity are an important part of success.
It’s exciting to work for an innovative company and a profession where my skillset is nurtured. Above all, I love working somewhere where I can be close with my team and clients, to the point where they become an extension of my circle.
I would describe myself as ambitious, passionate and driven.
I bring a keen eye for detail and drive to help my team accomplish their ultimate goals.
Exemplary communications skills are important. As well as honesty, excellent work ethic, the ability to be flexible and adaptable. I am a determined, persistent and tenacious employee who works in harmony with my team.
I am always willing to add to my team’s knowledge base and skills. And I bring an openness to receiving constructive feedback and the commitment to continually improve myself both personally and professionally.
Collaboration, trust, honesty and transparency are essential to success. As long as we are all heading in the same direction and our goals are aligned, we can only go one way—and that’s up.
The hardest thing about my job is making time for self-initiated projects and continued professional development. I can get so involved with client work that often those personal projects that could become a turning point in my life are pushed aside.
Good management is about acknowledging a team’s hard work and effort. Appreciation can come in many forms, such as saying thank you, monetary bonuses, paid time-off and other valuable rewards. When managers are grateful to their team, it results in a boost in morale and can have a tremendous impact on productivity and performance.
Another important trait of good management is providing on-going support and the resources necessary to accomplish team tasks.
I see marketing as an industry going deep into the digital stratosphere. Design thinking allows us to implement Steve Covey’s principle of “first seek to understand before being understood.”
Bad clients focus on minutia, rather than look at the big-picture goal. Whereas a good client gives autonomy to our team to create the campaigns our data says will produce the best result.
I have rarely experienced a very challenging or uncomfortable scenario with a client. The one experience that comes to mind is one where we have made errors with their advertising – and I had to re-build trust and credibility with the client.
My favourite occupation is sales and marketing.
“True happiness arises, in the first place, from the enjoyment of one’s self.” – Joseph Addison
I love being active, healthy and fit. I take the time to appreciate life. My other pursuits include: volunteering for environmental organisations and participating if reforestation projects; travelling; listening to music; spending time with those few people that mean the world to me.
To unwind from work I zone out.
